Meet Your OBM
I’m Katelyn Wilson, a versatile registered dietitian (RD) with a unique blend of experiences in digital marketing and nutrition practice. I’ve held management-level roles in content marketing and nutrition communications and went on to apply these skills as a digital nutrition entrepreneur.
I’ve combined my love for both nutrition and marketing as an online business manager (OBM) & marketer for dietitians and nutritionists. I’m passionate about freeing up nutrition business owners to fully focus on providing excellent nutrition care and growing their impact!
Outside of my work time blocks, I love spending quality time with my amazing husband and playing with our energetic yellow lab. You’ll also find me volunteering at church, lifting weights, experimenting with new food, and enjoying our local NJ beaches.
Fun Facts: I’m an Enneagram 6 (“The Loyalist”), I was a film projectionist at a movie theater, and peanut butter is my all-time favorite food!
Education and Experience: I started working in marketing over 10 years ago as a freelance writer for health brands. I then completed my dietetic internship at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in NYC in 2016 and went right into a full-time marketing manager role at a supplement company. At the same time, I built my virtual nutrition private practice on the side.
I soon started to offer consulting services for dietitians and found that I absolutely loved supporting RDs behind the scenes of their businesses. This passion has developed into the operations and marketing services I offer today. My dietitian career has truly been unconventional and I’ve been so blessed to be able to play a role in the success of many trailblazing nutrition business owners. More to come!!

What is an OBM?
OBM stands for Online Business Manager. OBMs manage online based businesses, including the day-to-day management of projects, operations, metrics and team. As an OBM and Marketer, I can provide the operations services of an OBM plus marketing services such as brand messaging support, content calendar creation, and social media and email strategy.
Are you also a designer?
No. While I love bringing my creativity into my work, I am not a designer. But I do have over 10 years of experience managing graphic designers and website designers to help bring business owner’s visions to life!
Do you offer packages?
No. I’ve found that my client’s needs do not fit neatly into packages. For this reason, I offer a flat hourly rate only.
